Shake the page

By Steve Stokes, Planning Partner at Dog Cat & Mouse.

Want to make a great poster for your brand? Then try “shaking the page”. This is a concept we use at Dog Cat & Mouse in creative development, in order to get rid of all the unnecessary details — the stuff that’s getting in the way.

This is particularly relevant for roadside outdoor advertising, when people typically only have about two seconds to pay attention to your ad.

Less detail, more impact

See what we did with our campaign for Soulful Food? Boy, was it hard to drop the smart subheadings, but it allowed the end results to be simpler, more impactful, more noticeable and more iconic.
